The farmhouse is located on County Highway 18 just outside of the small village of Hobart, NY.  We're about 3 hours and 20 minutes from New York City.

For skiers, we're about 30 minutes from Ski Plattekill in Roxbury and about 45 minutes from Windham and Hunter Mountains.  

Cooperstown, with the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Farmer's Museum, is about an hour's drive away.  

Whether you're just looking for a change from the city or like to be busy, there's something for everyone.  The area offers a number of bookstores for rainy day browsing and restaurants in nearby communities when you just don't feel like cooking!
